Stefania Ferrario is an Australian model but not your
conventional lingerie model. Her size 12 to 14 figure is a far cry from the
waif-thin bombshells that were previously the norm, and she has attracted over
900k followers because of that.
Ferrario is an indication that society's perception of
the female body is changing, and it's about darn time. She's body positive,
frank about her sexuality, and a generally nice person.

Stefania Ferrario is currently the face of Dita Von
Teese's lingerie line for Myer in Australia, and has previously worked with Gok
Wan for Target in Australia, as well as other Australian brands such as
Sportsgirl, City Chic, Bras N Things, and Berlei. She has also worked for Italian
stores Fiorella Rubino, Flow Clothing in Malaysia, and Swimsuits For All.

Ferrario shaved her head in 2012 to raise money and
awareness for cancer, trichotillomania, and alopecia. Ferrario was then
photographed by fashion photographer Peter Coulson for his book In My Pants, a
charitable effort to raise money and awareness for cancer and the Cancer
Council (Australia).

In February 2015, Ferrario launched a campaign with
television host Ajay Rochester to stop the modeling industry's use of the
phrase "plus size" to designate models who are larger than a US dress
size 4. Ferrario shared a photo with the message "I am a model FULL
STOP" and the hashtag "#droptheplus," which received media
attention and was widely discussed on social media and within the fashion
business, with diverse but largely favorable comments.
Ferrario revealed in an interview with Fuse magazine
that she is trilingual, speaking English, French, and Italian, and that she is
bisexual and is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community.
