On Friday morning, the 31-year-old singer released the
official full version of “Wildest Dreams (Taylor's Version)” 17th September.
Hi! Saw you guys got Wildest Dreams trending on TikTok, thought you should have my version 😘😘😘😘.
The song "Wildest Dreams" comes from 1989,
which many fans expected to be her next re-recorded album.
The re-recorded version of the song was initially
teased in the trailer for the animated film Spirit Untamed! earlier this year.
Red (Taylor's Version) is, of course, her upcoming
re-recorded album, which will feature 30 songs. The album will feature Ed
Sheeran, Phoebe Bridgers, Gary Lightbody, and Chris Stapleton, and will be
released in November!
The rerecorded version of Wildest Dreams swiftly
exceeded the original song's Spotify record for the most plays in a single day.
Wildest Dreams (Taylor's Version) received 2 million plays just 4 hours following
its debut. The original version had 750,000 plays in a single day earlier this
week, but that number paled in comparison to the rerelease on Friday.
Swift recently joined TikTok a month ago, but she already has 4 million followers.
