BTS took home the crown with their smash hit “Butter” as the top title for Billboard’s 2021 “Songs of the Summer.”

“Butter” was spending a total of 14 weeks on the
Billboard’s “Hot 100” chart, since its release back in 21st May. And
with those 14 weeks, “Butter” has been leading the charts, making the song the 40th
single in history to making it happen.
The summer smash hit of BTS was also leading the “Songs of the Summer” chart each week this year. Butter is the first song to sweep a
season since Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” in 2019.

The chart data for the “Songs of the Summer” is
collected from Memorial Day through Labor Day each year.
ARMYs are celebrating this historic win and they’re showing love for BTS’ “Butter” remix collaborator, Megan Thee Stallion, who helped the song bounced back to the top chart.
