On September 17, 2021, she revealed that she had sold
736,221 albums in the first week of sales, which ran from September 10 to 16,
2021. BLACKPINK’s debut full-length album, THE ALBUM, held the previous record
for most albums sold by female K-Pop acts in the first week, with 690,000. Due
to some administrative constraints about timing, sales from a portion of
America and Europe are not included in these figures. These guidelines are
applicable to all artists.
Beyond the first week of sales, BLACKPINK’s THE ALBUM has sold over 1 million copies in total, making them the first K-Pop girl group to reach that milestone. Fans are eagerly awaiting Lisa’s “LALISA” outcomes.
