Spider-Man: No Way Home’s trailer leak trended on
Twitter and other social medial channels, with fans talking about the movie’s
trailer content and were sharing low-resolution clips and screenshots from the
trailer. The source video has since been taken down and removed “in response to
a report from the copyright owner.”
MCU fans have anticipated that the trailer for
Spider-Man: No Way Home would circulate online this week as Sony is set to hold
its annual presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas this Monday with a sneak
preview footage and new trailers from its upcoming movie projects.
After the events of 2019’s “Spider-Man: Far From Home,”
the movie will show the fallout of the reveal of Spider-Man’s secret identity
and involve appearances from past Spider-Man villains, including Doctor Octopus
played by Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin, and Jamie Foxx who plays
Electro.
Although a trailer will be presented at CinemaCon, it
doesn’t necessarily follow a simultaneous release or launching of the trailer
to the general public. There are some trailers presented at the industry trade
show involving work-in-progress or on-going footage with unfinished CGI or
Computer-Generated-Imagery.
“Spider-Man: No Way Home” is expected to arrive on the
big screen this coming December 17 in time for the holidays.
