Barry Keoghan who will be starring in the MCU movie “Eternals” and DC’s “The Batman,” was hospitalized after being brutally assaulted in Galway, Ireland on Saturday night.

Keoghan was found with facial injuries outside a hotel,
based on the Irish newspaper ‘Sunday World,’ and the actor was taken to a hospital
at Galway University, where Keoghan received treatment and was later
discharged. Keoghan has been seen earlier that evening at a pub and had taken
photos with a local hairdresser.
According to local authorities, no arrests have been made,
and Barry Keoghan has not filed a complaint.
Barry Keoghan is expected to appear this November in
MCU’s “Eternals” as Druig, who is part of a race of immortal beings who have
secretly guided humanity and protected them from a group of monsters known as
The Deviants. Keoghan will also join in Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” as the Gotham
City police officer Stanley Merkel.
Keoghan, most recently appeared in David Lowery’s “The
Green Knight” as a thief who attacks Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), during Sir Gawain’s
journey. Keoghan was also part in the films like “Dunkirk,” “The Killing of a
Sacred Deer,” and “71.”
