Marvel just released the teaser trailer for the upcoming movie, “The Eternals.” The film marks the latest installment in the MCU, and the first movie in the franchise since “Spider-Man: Far From Home” launched in 2019. “Eternals” is the first major Hollywood movie from Academy Award-winner Chloe Zhao, whose film “Nomadland” won both best picture and best director at the 2021 Oscars.

With the latest release of the movie trailer, it
elicited a bit of a mixed reaction from MCU fans. Some are hyped to see a Chloe
Zhao directed superhero movie, while others have criticized the bland
cinematography.
However, fans wanted to know where the in the world
these “aliens” have been hibernating for the last decade. Anyway, as quick guide,
the Eternals are ancient aliens who have been living in secret on Earth for
thousands of years, silently observing but not meddling in the affairs of men.
The upcoming movie is a star-studded cast including
Gemma Chan, Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff,
Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, and Don Lee, along with former “Game of Thrones” stars
Richard Madden and Kit Harrington.
Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, there was
an unexpected tragedy that forces these ancient aliens to come out of the
shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, the Deviants.
So, now the MCU fans are wondering why the Eternals made
a decision to sit the whole Thanos thing out when half of Earth’s population
were wiped out? Was it intentional to simply ignore the catastrophic event? Take
a look at the official movie trailer here…
