According to a source, the couple finally decided to
end their relationship after the former Yankee was linked to the reality star
Madison LeCroy.
Back in January, Twitter was flooded with speculation
after the reunion special for Bravo’s “Southern Charm” exposed red-hot
accusations of infidelity involving an “ex-MLB star” and breakout cast member
Madison LeCroy.
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez broke up in the wake
of his scandal with “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy.
LeCroy confirmed that she had been Face Timing with
Rodriguez, however, she insisted they had not met in person.
LeCroy was quoted stating, “He’s never physically cheated
on his fiancée with me.” She further added, “I don’t want anything bad for his
family, or for mine. We are definitely innocent in this.”
“The Madison LeCroy scandal was the reason they finally
broke up. There were already problems, but Jennifer was really embarrassed by
it,” according to the source with knowledge of the issue.
Sources close to Rodriguez, however, insisted that
both Rodriguez and LeCroy never met.
In the meantime, LeCroy’s Bravo co-star Shep Rose told
Us Weekly that there was “an NDA signed” between her and Rodriguez.
JLo, who started dating Rodriguez in 2017, also
recently unveiled that she and Rodriguez saw a therapist during their time in
quarantine.
Lopez recently told Allure, “It has been actually
really good. We got to work on ourselves. We did therapy.” Lopez believes that
counseling helped them during the lockdown. “I think it was really helpful for
us in our relationship,” JLo added.
So far, reps for Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez
didn’t immediately comment or haven’t released any official statement regarding
the issue at hand.
