Fortunately, Spider-Man’s next big screen adventure
finally has a title. Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon unveiled the title
as ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ in a video posted on Wednesday.
The unveiling of the official title came after Holland
and his co-stars trolled the Spider-Man fans with their own fake titles for the
movie, including Spider-Man: Phone Home, Spider-Man: Home Slice and Spider-Man:
Homewrecker.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will feature Benedict
Cumberbatch as MCU’s Doctor Strange and is rumored to explore into the
multiverse as it will also unite separate generations of Spider-Man films.
Meanwhile, Alfred Molina, who played Doctor Octopus in
Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man 2, will be
part of the movie. Also, Jamie Foxx, who played Electro in Andrew Garfield’s
2014 The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The new title added fuel to the multiverse
speculation for the 3rd installment.
Sony and Marvel Studios have set Spider-Man: No Way Home for December 17th release. Jon Watts is back in the director’s seat after taking over Spider-Man Homecoming back in 2017 and Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019), which earned more than $1.1 billion globally, making the film the highest grossing Spidey movie franchise.
