Johnson says he is working out twice a day in
preparation for the new DC movie, and clearly, it is working like a charm for
him.
"Friday night #BlackAdamTraining ⚡️2nd workout of the day
(first workout is morning cardio on an empty stomach) Chest/triceps
split," Johnson captioned the mind-blowing video.
In the said clip, Johnson chiseled-chest bouncing as
he talks to the camera. The actor explained the crazy workout routine on IG
starting with what he calls ‘giant sets.’
"Chest. 3 giant sets - 4 exercises per set
working all angles of the chest. Fly movement Chest press Incline press Finish
with bodyweight dips til failure," Johnson noted.
"Triceps. Same protocol as chest. 3 giant sets. 4
different movements that engage all heads of the triceps. Push yourself to the
limit but be smart with the weight. No ego training," Johnson continued.
Adding, "The work is very hard but it’s why we
play the game. Plus, if it comes easy - it’s boring."
It's easy for him to say, as he squats holding a giant
metal chain over his shoulders!
The best part, Johnson promises to continue sharing
updates on his workouts, though we’re wondering and it's unclear how he can get
any bigger…
According to sources, Dwayne Johnson has been selected
to play 'Black Adam' in the upcoming DC superhero movie and he is preparing by
getting into the best physical shape possible for this movie.
"There's nothing like pushing and pulling and
taxing your muscles and central nervous system and pushing yourself to almost
what you think is your limit, and pushing yourself beyond that," Johnson
said earlier explaining the workouts.
‘The Rock’ added, "There's nothing like that kind of workout that involves iron and gripping things with your own two hands."
