Dr. Dre is doing fine after confined in hospital for brain
aneurysm. The Grammy-winning rapper and producer posted a reassuring message for
his fans on Instagram, saying, “Thanks to my family, friends, and fans for
their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from
my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to
all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”

The music mogul is confined at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center
in Los Angeles after suffering a brain aneurysm. According to sources connected
to Dre mentioned that Dre suffered the aneurysm on Monday. He was rushed by
ambulance to Cedars and was taken directly to ICU, where he remains Tuesday.
The 55-year-old Dre is stable and lucid, but doctors don’t know what caused the bleeding. The doctors are doing a series of tests to find out and understand the condition.
“Dre is recovering nicely,” tweeted LL Cool J, Dre’s fellow
rapper. Fellow NWA member Ice Cube also tweeted on Tuesday, “Send your love and
prayers to the homie Dr. Dre”, with a photo of the pair when Ice Cube got a
star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
CNC learned that Dre is in the middle of a very controversial divorce with his estranged wife Nicole Young. We learned that Nicole wants $2 million a month in temporary spousal support and $5 million for attorney fees. Dr. Dre says he has been paying all Nicole’s expenses so the $2 million demand was unusual. Furthermore, Dre says the attorney’s fees are shocking since Nicole’s lawyers have only been working on the case for a few months. Nicole wants a judge to nullify the prenuptial agreement she signed back in 1996, claiming that Dre ripped it up early on in the marriage. However, Dre denies the said claim.
A hearing will be held on Wednesday in downtown Los Angeles
on both issues. Dre, obviously, will not be able to attend and we are assuming
the judge will continue the case on the hearing.
Dre made it big in the music scene as a co-founding member of
the group N.W.A., producing some of the group’s groundbreaking 1988 debut album,
“Straight Outta Compton.” He went on to make his own hits and multiplatinum
albums, along with creating music for Eminem, Tupac, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Jay-Z
and many more…

in 2008 with Jimmy Iovine and six years later, they launched a streaming
subscriptions service, Beats Music. Apple eventually acquired both businesses in
a $3 Billion dollar deal back in 2014.
